Hyderabad has introduced a new feature for the MeeSeva e-governance platform: online sand booking. This service offers a quicker and more transparent way for people to book sand, eliminating the need for traditional methods. Users can now easily book sand from home or work, benefiting both individual users and the construction industry.
Recently, MeeSeva achieved over 20 crore successful transactions, highlighting its impact on service delivery. The sand booking process is now completely digital, reducing chances of errors and delays. Users can choose the vehicle type, sand quantity, stockyard location, usage purpose, and delivery date. Payment is made online, and the sand is delivered to the specified address.
To use this service, individuals should visit a nearby MeeSeva center. There, a Village Level Entrepreneur (VLE) will register their mobile number on the official portal.
