TS UTF calls for special school inspection system

The Telangana State United Teachers Federation (TS UTF) has reached out to the Chief Minister’s Office in Hyderabad. They are requesting a dedicated system to oversee government schools. The federation wants District Education Officers (DEO), Deputy Education Officers (Dy EO), Mandal Education Officers (MEO), and Complex Principals to focus solely on this task.

The group also asked for more positions to be approved where needed. They urged the government to stop using teachers for inspection duties. TS UTF proposed creating an extra academic post for MEOs to supervise primary and upper primary schools. They also want a Deputy Education Officer for each Revenue Division to manage high schools and regular DEOs appointed in every district.
