Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has directed officials to stay alert due to forecasts of moderate to heavy rain across Telangana. In a meeting with Special Chief Secretary Vikas Raj and other top officials, he reviewed the impact of the rain and flooding on roads, culverts, and bridges.

Engineers are tasked with inspecting culverts, low bridges, and causeways regularly until the rain stops. The minister stressed the need for proactive steps to prevent any loss of life, urging close cooperation with police, electricity, revenue, irrigation, and panchayat raj departments.

Officials must quickly implement temporary fixes on roads and culverts that are closed to minimize public transport disruptions. The minister instructed that officials stay at district headquarters to provide real-time updates on field conditions.
