The Meteorological Department has predicted moderate to heavy rain in several Telangana districts. In response, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has instructed officials to act swiftly to ensure public safety.
In a recent meeting, the Chief Minister stressed the need for preparedness. He ordered that relief teams be sent to districts expected to be most impacted. He also called for the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) teams to be stationed in high-risk areas.
Officials must stay alert in districts where streams might overflow. The Chief Minister suggested relocating families from low-lying areas to relief camps. He also required officials to regularly check reservoir levels to prevent flooding.
As the state prepares for the upcoming rains, the Chief Minister’s actions aim to protect residents and reduce the impact of severe weather.
