Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the Minister for Roads and Buildings in Telangana, recently reviewed the progress of the elevated corridor project in Uppal. He was accompanied by local MLA Bandaru Lakshma Reddy and other officials. This Uppal-Narapalli project started in 2017 but has been delayed and inactive for years.
Local drivers are worried about the unfinished road’s condition. They face problems like potholes and unsafe driving. During the inspection, Minister Komatireddy spoke to the media, acknowledging these issues. He mentioned the delays are unfortunate but said no one is directly at fault.
Initially, Gayathri Company managed the project but later withdrew. A new company has taken over the work. Minister Komatireddy promised that efforts are underway to speed up the construction. He aims to have the corridor ready by the Dussehra celebrations.
