The Telangana State Minority Finance Corporation (TSMFC) gave 20 cars to minority drivers on Tuesday through the Driver Empowerment Programme. Home Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali presented the cars to the beneficiaries, and Imtiaz Ishaq, the chairman of TSMFC, thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for launching the programme. The initiative aims to help minority drivers become owners of their own cabs, and the corporation distributed Maruti Suzuki Tour S model cars.

Ishaq said that the government has taken significant steps to develop minority communities in the state, including in education, economics, and social development. The government is also making efforts to provide self-employment opportunities to minority youth, and loans will be issued soon.
