Mission Bhagiratha Officials Inspect Water Supply in Chenchu Tribal Areas
Nagarkurnool: With summer approaching, Mission Bhagiratha Achampet DE Hemalatha visited several Chenchu tribal settlements in Nallamala to check the availability of drinking water. The visit aimed to assess the situation and ensure necessary arrangements are made.
The inspection covered Appapur Chenchu Penta, Borapur Chenchu Penta, and Pullaiahpally Chenchu Penta. Officials examined water storage levels and looked for any shortages. Hemalatha assured that officials are closely monitoring the situation and will take proactive steps to prevent water scarcity.
To ensure the safety of drinking water, Quality Control Lab staff joined the team to conduct water quality tests. Hemalatha also interacted with the Chenchu community, listening to their concerns and gathering feedback about their water supply.
Officials E. Sudhakar Singh and A. Akbar Basha were also present during the visit.
