Gadwal, Telangana – In a heartfelt gesture, Gadwal MLA Bandla Krishna Mohan Reddy provided financial help to a grieving family under the Rythu Bima scheme, a welfare program for farmers.
At the MLA camp office in Gadwal district headquarters, the legislator handed over a cheque of ₹5 lakh to Jammanna, the husband of Kurava Mallamma, a farmer from Rayampuram village in Gattu Mandal. Mallamma recently died due to health issues.
This support is part of the Telangana government's initiative to assist families of farmers who pass away unexpectedly, easing their financial burden during tough times.
The family thanked the MLA for his timely help. They honored him with a shawl and flower bouquet, expressing deep appreciation for standing by them in their moment of loss.
Several local leaders and supporters were present at the event, including former MPP Vijay, former Vice MPP Ramakrishna Naidu, former Councillor Murali, and party workers like Kurumannna, Govindu, and Santosh.
The event highlighted the government’s commitment to backing farming families and ensuring they receive support when they need it most.
