NagarKurnool: MLA Kuchukulla Rajesh Reddy recently visited the construction site of the Markandeya Lift Irrigation Project in Bijnapally Mandal. During his visit, he inspected various parts of the project in person and held a meeting with officials and contractors to assess the progress.
The MLA stressed the importance of maintaining high-quality standards throughout the construction process. He directed the contractors and officials to strictly follow these standards to ensure the project’s success. Rajesh Reddy also highlighted the purpose of the Markandeya Reservoir, which is to provide irrigation facilities for thousands of acres of farmland in the region.
He urged the project team to complete the construction by December 15 and ensure it becomes fully operational by that time. Additionally, he assured them of his support, stating that any challenges faced during the process should be reported to him immediately for quick resolution.
Rajesh Reddy emphasized how vital this project is for the area’s agricultural needs. He explained that it will transform barren lands into fertile fields, significantly benefiting local farmers.
The MLA’s visit brought hope to the farmers in the region, who are optimistic that the project will be completed on time and improve their livelihoods.
