A brand-new Osmania General Hospital (OGH) will soon be constructed at Goshamahal. Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy is set to lay the foundation stone for this modern facility on Friday.

The new hospital will span a massive 32 lakh square feet and feature 2,000 beds. It will include 29 major operation theatres, 12 minor operation theatres, a dedicated transplant theatre, and advanced facilities for robotic surgery.

In addition to healthcare services, the hospital will have modern systems for laundry, waste management, and water treatment. Its Medical Education and Training wing will be expanded to include 30 departments, with 8 new super-specialty areas. The facility will also house an academic block with nursing, dental, and physiotherapy colleges. Parking will be provided across three levels.
