The State government of Telangana has decided to award cricketer Mohammed Siraj a plot of land as a token of appreciation for his performance in the ICC T20 World Cup. The land, which measures 600 square yards, is located on Road No 78 in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad. This decision was made following a Cabinet meeting where Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy praised Siraj’s role in helping India secure victory in the T20 World Cup.
According to a government order, the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration in Hyderabad reported that the Hyderabad district collector had requested land for Siraj for residential purposes. Siraj has been part of the Indian cricket team for seven years, including participation in the World Cup 2024.
After completing the necessary procedures, the district collector submitted a proposal to the Chief Commissioner of Land Administration. This proposal was then reviewed by the Telangana Land Management Authority. The authority recommended the free allotment of government land to Siraj, specifically the 600 square yards situated at Road No 78, Jubilee Hills. This area is identified as TS.No.1, Block-F, Ward No 9.
