    Election Returning Officer Ankit announced that Maddila Venkateshwarlu, a resident of Dommeda and Nimmagudem villages in Mangapet mandal of Mulugu district, has filed his nomination as an independent candidate for the Mulugu assembly constituency. The candidate, who is listed as number 749 in the voter list, is the son of Chandraya, a 37-year-old. His nomination was supported by ten people.
