District Collector Uday Kumar of Nagar Kurnool district advised people to take precautions due to the increasing temperature. He held a meeting with various officials to discuss this issue. He emphasized that children under five and adults over sixty should stay indoors unless necessary. Workers should finish their tasks within 12 hours, and it is recommended to avoid going out between 12 noon and 4 pm. Using an umbrella and cap is advised in case of emergency.

Collector Uday Kumar suggested drinking more water and having ORS packets available. Training for APM, POs, and field staff is important. Villages should conduct campaigns against sunburn, and anyone affected should be taken to a government hospital immediately. Awareness programs for women’s groups should be organized, and workers should operate from 7 am to 11 am. PHC sub centers should have doctors available, and Anganwadi teachers should be informed about sunstroke.
