Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy spoke on Sunday about the potential of Orugallu (Warangal) as a prime location for film shoots, a place once ruled by the Kakatiyas. He attended an event at the Asian Sridevi Mall as the chief guest, where he opened the premiere of the movie ‘Barbarik’. This film was directed by Mohan Srivastav and produced by Adidala Vijaya Paul Reddy. Reddy congratulated the team and wished them success.
He emphasized the government’s strong support for the film industry, noting the establishment of a special corporation with Dil Raju as chairman. Reddy spoke about the many film-friendly sites in the undivided Warangal district. He stressed the importance of using cinema to promote the region’s rich artistic and cultural heritage, particularly highlighting Telugu culture. As the local representative, he promised to help with necessary infrastructure for film projects.
