Mancherial: A significant event focused on medical ethics and legal responsibilities took place in Mancherial on Sunday. The Continuing Professional Development (CPD–2025) programme aimed to eliminate quackery from healthcare. It was organized by HRDA, IMA, and OSAM, attracting many doctors and legal professionals.

Dr. Yeggana Srinivas from the Telangana Medical Council emphasized the importance of cleaning up the medical field. Practicing medicine without proper registration is illegal. He warned that strict measures would be taken against hospitals operating unlawfully for profit. The Council has already identified 540 fake doctors and over 100 substandard hospitals, taking necessary actions against them.

District Judge Veeraiah, the event’s chief guest, highlighted the nobility of the medical profession, comparing doctors to deities. He insisted on severe consequences for those who degrade the field for monetary gain, praising the Medical Council’s efforts.
