    Osmania University’s Mah Laqa Bai Chanda (MLBC) Centre for Women’s Studies recently held a national conference on Transforming Women’s World: Practices and Possibilities. The conference saw 70 participants sharing their work and ideas on various topics like human health, gender equality, childcare leave, and women’s impact on the environment.

    The event was attended by Professor P Laxshminaraya, Registrar of OU, Professor Rekha Pande, Dr Syeda Azeem Unnisa, Director of the MLBC Centre for Women’s Studies, and Professor D Ravinder, Vice-Chancellor of OU.

    Overall, the conference aimed to discuss important issues related to women’s empowerment and showcase the work being done in this field. It provided a platform for participants to exchange knowledge and learn from each other’s experiences.
