The Department of Microbiology at Osmania University, along with St Pious X Degree & PG College for Women and MNR Degree & PG College, organized a national seminar on the topic of “Post-Pandemic Scenario”. The seminar took place on Wednesday and was attended by around 360 students and faculty members from various institutions.
The seminar featured Dr. Nagendra R Hedge, a Scientist-H from the National Institute of Agricultural Botany (NIAB) in Hyderabad, as one of the prominent speakers. Dr. Hedge discussed the complexities of global health challenges and emphasized the importance of being prepared for future pandemics. He also highlighted how such seminars play a significant role in advancing scientific knowledge and inspiring younger generations to explore new areas of viral research in the fight against infectious diseases.
