    The Inter Group Competition for Republic Day Camp 2024 was held between the nine NCC Groups of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The competition took place from October 27 to November 5 at Mehdipatnam Military Garrison.

    The competition included various events such as drill, small arms firing, cultural events showcasing the cultural heritage of the two states, photography in various genres, and flag area competitions. The cadets from the Warangal group were declared the champions, while the Secunderabad group became the runners-up.

    Air Commodore V Madhusudan Reddy, deputy director general of NCC Directorate Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, personally selected the cadets for the camp. He praised the efforts of both the cadets and officers in making the competition a great success. The selected cadets from this camp will receive training and represent the states in the Republic Day Parade in New Delhi in January 2024. VM Reddy commended the training efforts of all NCC cadets and personnel and expressed his satisfaction with the selection process.
