Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be hosting an extended meeting for NDA allies on July 18. In a surprising move, those who had previously left the NDA will also be invited to attend.

One of the parties that had left the NDA before the Punjab Assembly elections, Akali Dal, has been invited and has confirmed their attendance. They have also expressed their intention to rejoin the NDA. However, it is still uncertain whether the NDA will extend an invitation to their former ally TDP or the Jana Sena party, which is currently allied with the BJP in Andhra Pradesh.

It is worth noting that this meeting of the NDA will coincide with a gathering of opposition parties in Bengaluru.
