The Telangana government is planning to build a new bus terminal at Aramgarh. The government owns 17 acres of land in the area, and the Road Transport Corporation (RTC) has requested at least 7 acres for the project.

Aramgarh X Road is one of Hyderabad’s busiest locations, with commuters traveling to areas like Shamsabad, Shadnagar, Mahbubnagar, and even Bengaluru. The road also sees frequent buses from LB Nagar to Mehdipatnam, which causes traffic congestion, especially during peak hours.

The new bus terminal aims to reduce the pressure on existing terminals like Mahatma Gandhi Bus Station (MGBS) and Jubilee Bus Station (JBS). By creating an additional terminal, the government hopes to improve traffic flow in the city.

Many IT employees living in areas such as LB Nagar, Karmanghat, Balapur, and Chandrayangutta pass through Aramgarh to reach their offices in the Financial District. A new terminal could help ease their daily commute.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that the Police Department has requested land in the same area for the Parade Grounds.

Regular commuters from Aramgarh have also urged the government to speed up the process of building the new bus terminal, as it would provide better transport facilities and reduce congestion.
