Hyderabad celebrated a significant event today with the launch of the new PJR Flyover. Chief Minister Revanth Reddy officially opened this six-lane, two-way flyover, which is expected to greatly improve daily commutes in the city’s busy IT corridor.
The flyover stretches from Shilpa Layout Phase 2 to Gachibowli Junction. This crucial connection intends to ease traffic between important areas like Kondapur, Madhapur, Hitec City, and the Financial District. It is designed to handle heavy traffic, aiming to remove long-standing traffic jams along the Gachibowli-Kondapur route.
Named to honor P Janardhan Reddy (PJR), a respected former Congress leader and minister, the flyover pays tribute to his lasting impact on the city.
Built by the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) as part of the Shilpa Layout Phase 2 initiative, this new infrastructure promises to cut down travel times and enhance the efficiency of commuting for countless residents.
The opening of this flyover marks a crucial advancement in Hyderabad’s efforts to improve urban transportation and boost connectivity throughout the IT sector.
