On May 9 at 12:12 pm, people in Hyderabad will get to experience a special event called Zero Shadow Day. This happens twice a year near the equator when no shadows are cast by anything. The sun is directly overhead, making everything align with its light. The reason for this is the Earth’s tilt and the sun’s position in relation to the equator.
