The ticket fight in BRS is still ongoing. Party leaders are asking Chief K Chandrashekar Rao to change candidates in certain constituencies because they refuse to work for them. Some leaders are even protesting to demand tickets for their own leaders.

It has been three days since KCR announced the candidates for the upcoming elections. However, party leaders are unhappy with the candidates in some constituencies, including ZPTCs, MPTCs, and sarpanchas. They have been protesting against these candidates. One senior leader objected to the ticket given to Shankar Naik from Mahabubabad.

MLC T Ravinder Rao stated that the party should change the candidate in that constituency. He told his followers that they are not against the party but they won’t work if Naik remains as the candidate.

Similar situations are happening in constituencies like Uppal and Ramagundam in Karimnagar, where leaders are requesting a change in nominees. Former Mayor Bonthu Rammohan, who is upset with the party’s decision to name a new candidate, has not been in contact with senior leaders. Rammohan has been expecting a ticket since 2018, but Bheti Subhash Reddy was given the ticket at that time. Both Subhash Reddy and Rammohan have urged the high command not to give the ticket to B Lakshma Reddy if there is speculation of a change in the candidate.

Meanwhile, followers of Madan Reddy staged a protest in front of Finance Minister T Harish Rao’s residence in the city on Thursday. They demanded that Narsapur ticket be given to their leader. The BRS chief has not yet announced the Narsapur nominee, but there are plans to name State Women’s Commission chairperson Sunita Laxma Reddy. Madan Reddy’s followers stated that they will not support the nominee if Madan Reddy is denied the ticket.
