A food delivery boy named Biswal Prabhas tragically passed away in an accident, but his organs were donated to save the lives of others. Biswal was only 19 years old and hailed from Rajendranagar in Rangareddy district.
After Biswal suffered severe brain injuries in the accident on March 14, he was declared brain dead by doctors at Continental Hospitals. Despite their grief, Biswal’s parents agreed to donate his organs, including his liver.
On March 18, a team of doctors successfully performed a liver and kidney transplant using Biswal’s organs. This selfless act has given a new chance at life to those in need of these vital organs.
