    Gadwal hosted the Second National Lok Adalat on Saturday at the Jogulamba Gadwal District Court. During this event, 8,195 cases were concluded successfully, as reported by N. Premalatha, who is both the Chairperson of the District Legal Services Authority and the Principal District Judge.

    N. Premalatha emphasized the importance of Lok Adalat for resolving disputes peacefully. She mentioned that it offers a platform for both parties to settle their cases through mutual agreement, which helps avoid long legal battles.

    The cases resolved included:

    17 Civil Cases
    8,164 Criminal Cases
    4 Bank Pre-Litigation Cases
    2 Motor Vehicle Accident Compensation Cases
    10 Cybercrime Cases

    The total settlement amount reached ₹63,69,410, as disclosed by the District Judge.

    Several key judicial and law enforcement officials were present, including S. Ravi Kumar (Additional District Judge), V. Srinivas (Secretary, District Legal Services Authority), T. Lakshmi (Additional Senior Civil Judge), Poojitha (Principal Junior Civil Judge), Sanjana (Assistant Public Prosecutor), and Raju (Cyber Crime Circle Inspector). The event also involved advocates, Sub-Inspectors, and court staff.

    This initiative aimed to ease the workload of regular courts and encourage swift, affordable justice, orchestrated by the District Legal Services Authority.
