    Gadwal:

In Dharur Mandal, former sarpanch Ramamjaneyulu and his brothers, Srinivasulu, Bheemanna, and Govindamma, are in a tough situation. Their paddy fields in Bhimpuram village have been flooded because the Krishna River overflowed. Every year, their 16-acre farmland, located near Rekulapalli village, gets submerged, causing them to lose their crops.

The farmers have informed GENCO officials about this problem, but they have not received any response. They also submitted a petition to the District Collector and RDO, but no action has been taken.

Ramamjaneyulu is very frustrated. He stated that GENCO officials, under the contractor Rekulapalli Hanumanthu Reddy, only set boundary stones for certain fields and ignored theirs. He called this negligence unacceptable and asked the Collector and RDO to include their names in the compensation list for crop losses.

The farmers are asking GENCO to conduct a survey and install boundary markers for their fields as a permanent solution. They are very worried and even questioned if officials would only come to place garlands on their dead bodies if they suffer more losses.

Ramamjaneyulu, Srinivasulu, Bheemanna, and Govindamma are urging the district authorities to act quickly to prevent further crop losses and address their concerns.
