Leaders Unite to Address Issues in Alampur Constituency

In Gadwal, leaders from various political parties and public organizations have come together to form an all-party committee. Their goal is to tackle pressing issues in the Alampur constituency. These problems have affected the region for decades, especially in the areas of irrigation, transportation, education, and healthcare. The committee has created a comprehensive action plan to address these issues.

    Focus on Irrigation and Infrastructure

One of the primary concerns is the modernization of the Rajolibanda Diversion Scheme (RDS) to improve irrigation. The committee also emphasized the need to restore Bingidoddi Lake and make the best use of Nettampadu water. Another crucial project is the development of Mallamma Kunta in the second phase of Tummilla. For infrastructure, they proposed constructing Pulikal Road and a bridge over Ayij Pedda Vagu between Uppala and Mandoddi.

    Education and Healthcare Initiatives

In the education sector, the committee stressed the importance of establishing a degree college and hostels for boys and girls in Ayij. This would provide better educational opportunities for local youth. On the healthcare front, they resolved to speed up the opening of a 30-bed hospital in Ayij, making it available to local patients as soon as possible.

    Immediate Actions and Future Plans

To ensure these issues are addressed promptly, the committee decided to submit a memorandum to the District Collector and various departmental officials. They will present their concerns and proposed solutions in a meeting scheduled for Wednesday.

    Urgent Demands and Concerns

During a meeting at the All-Party Committee office in Aija Mandal Center, several members demanded that Bingidoddi tank be filled immediately. They pointed out that the tank has dried up because its water sources have been blocked by reservoirs. Despite the presence of other reservoirs like Tati kunta, Muchoni palli, and Nagar doddi, the drying up of Bingidoddi tank is a serious issue that needs immediate attention.

    Education and Revenue Division Requests

The committee also called for the immediate approval of a degree college in Aija. They highlighted that despite numerous requests, the college has not been sanctioned, depriving girls of education. They demanded its immediate approval since land is available.

Additionally, the committee wants Aija to be declared a revenue division. They stressed that primary roads in Aija Mandal, including Pulikal, Naguladinne Bridge, and Mantralayam Road, have been pending for many years. They criticized the previous government’s negligence and urged the current government to take action.

    Addressing Educational Backwardness

The committee expressed concern over the educational backwardness in Aija Mandal, citing a lack of adequate government institutions. They noted that a Gurukul school had been established but was later moved elsewhere. Given that Aija is a large mandal, they demanded that the government prioritize education in the area.

    Collective Efforts for Significant Improvements

The program saw the participation of many leaders, including honorary president Nagardoddi Venkatramudu and president Chakali Anjaneyulu. Other key members included chief secretaries Anjaneyulu and Kurva Pallaiah, vice presidents Morugu Veeresh, Tandrapadu Sudhakar Goud, Vijay Bhaskar Reddy, Chakravarti, Neelakantam, Swami Das, Ashwamareppa, Tagur Krishna, Jagapati Reddy, Venkateshwarlu, and Shekhar. Their collective efforts aim to bring significant improvements to Alampur by addressing long-standing issues and fostering development in the region.
