Hyderabad, May 14, 2025 – Students of Oxford Grammar High School had a proud moment as the school celebrated the outstanding achievements of its Class X batch for the academic year 2024–25. This year’s celebration wasn’t just about high scores—it was about strength, courage, and determination.
Two students, Nivriti Sanjeev Bahety and Rushika Jakkula, stood out for their bravery. Both girls faced heartbreaking personal tragedies just days before their CBSE board exams, yet they pushed through and succeeded.
Nivriti lost her father right before her IT exam. Despite the shock and sadness, she showed incredible focus and maturity. Known for her academic talent and creativity, she has now chosen to study Humanities and Arts.
Rushika’s father passed away from liver failure during the exam period. While mourning, she also took on family responsibilities, supporting her mother and younger siblings. She battled through anxiety and panic attacks but still completed her exams successfully. Rushika, a passionate Kuchipudi dancer and martial arts student, is now pursuing the Science stream.
School Director Ms. Prarthana Manikonda praised their resilience, saying, “Their strength is truly inspiring. They remind us that even in the darkest times, success is possible.”
A special ceremony was held to honor both girls. Teachers, classmates, and parents applauded their courage and determination.
