Hyderabad police uncovered a major scam involving fake educational certificates. The South-East Zone Task Force and Mehdipatnam Police worked together to break up the racket and arrested four people connected to the case.

Officers seized 108 fake certificates linked to different universities. These forged documents were found during a sting operation near a government school at Eidgah Grounds in First Lancer.

The main accused, Mohammed Mujeeb Hussain, aged 54, runs an educational consultancy. He was caught supplying fake certificates to people who wanted to study abroad or apply for jobs in multinational companies.

One of the buyers, Mohammed Nasir Khan, a 26-year-old IT professional, was caught along with two middlemen, Mohd Al Baseer Rahmani (45) and Zia-Ur-Rahman Siddiqui (34). The police said Nasir got his fake documents through deals arranged by Baseer and Zia.

Mujeeb sourced the certificates from a larger network. The suppliers were identified as Manoj Viswash from Kolkata, Ravinder from Meerut, and Ajay from Uttar Pradesh. He then sold these fake certificates to customers with help from his two accomplices.

Authorities are now investigating the wider network behind this operation. Police have warned the public to stay alert and avoid using or purchasing fake academic documents.
