Hyderabad: B Mahesh Kumar Goud, the Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC) president, criticized ‘Operation Kagaar’. He accused the Union government of using it to transfer forest and mineral resources to corporations.

At the reopening of the CPI’s Makdoom Bhavan office, Goud highlighted that the government ignored peace talks from Maoists and launched harsh operations. These actions, he claimed, led to the deaths of women and children. After speaking against Operation Kagaar at a conference, he was labeled as an “urban Naxal” and “anti-national.”

The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee chief raised issues with the Election Commission. He argued that it favors certain individuals. In Bihar, votes were removed due to surname errors, benefiting one party. This issue is currently in the Supreme Court. He supported the INDIA bloc’s protest against this process and called for democratic unity.
