Hyderabad: The PCC disciplinary committee announced on Sunday that no action has been taken against Munugode MLA Komatireddy Rajgopal Reddy because there is no formal complaint about his critical remarks.
Mallu Ravi, who heads the committee, discussed various party issues, especially those causing tensions in Warangal and Gajwel.
Speaking to the media, Ravi mentioned that Rajgopal Reddy’s case wasn’t discussed since no complaint has been filed. “We’ll address his issue if we receive a complaint,” he stated, warning that any member making internal matters public may face disciplinary measures. He emphasized the importance of unity as local elections approach.
Back in August, PCC President Mahesh Kumar Goud hinted that Rajgopal Reddy’s comments would be reviewed by the disciplinary committee. His statements followed ongoing criticisms directed at the state leadership.
The MLA has openly criticized the leadership and expressed disappointment over not receiving a promised cabinet position.
Regarding Siddipet DCC president Narsa Reddy, Ravi noted that the committee has requested an explanation from him.
Addressing the conflict in Warangal, Ravi shared that a report was sent to Mahesh Goud and Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, who will make the final decision.
