The Governor of Telangana, Tamilisai Soundararajan, did not comment on whether she received an invitation to the TS Formation Day celebrations or not. She organized the celebrations at Raj Bhavan and spoke in Telugu. She praised the people of Telangana for their non-violent movement and paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for a separate Telangana. She stressed the importance of ensuring development reaches remote areas and that it benefits everyone in society. The Governor acknowledged the significant role of the Union government in implementing schemes and development programs in Telangana. She danced with tribals during cultural programs and expressed her commitment to serving the people.
