The MLA in Alampur constituency does not stay in his quarters, which has been causing inconvenience to the locals for the past seven months. Instead, the quarters are only used for public functions occasionally. This neglect means that residents must travel to Kurnool where the MLA resides to seek assistance or address their grievances.
Ever since Vijayudu became the Alampur MLA, the quarters have not been utilized for addressing public issues, except during specific events like national festivals and the BRS Foundation Day. People have many concerns that they want to discuss with the MLA, including seeking help from the CM Relief Fund for health emergencies. There is also debate about the MLC quarters not being used, with some attributing it to a decision made by MLC Challa Venkatram Reddy, who played a role in the MLA’s victory.
The local community is calling for prompt action on pending works and for better accessibility to their elected representatives. They believe that having an MLA who is available and responsive is crucial for good governance, transparency, and addressing the needs of constituents efficiently. Unfortunately, this is not the case in Alampur.
