    The performance of candidates in the Telangana Teacher Eligibility Test (TG TET-2024) has improved this year. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy announced that results showed a 30.24% increase in Paper I and an 18.88% increase in Paper II pass rates compared to last year. The government will waive the fee for candidates who passed TET-2024 and want to apply for the District Selection Committee (DSC) exam.

    In total, 2,86,381 candidates applied for TG TET 2024. Of those, 85,996 candidates took the Paper-1 exam, with 57,725 passing. For the Paper-2 exam, 1,50,491 candidates participated, and 51,443 passed. The pass rates this year were around 67.13% for Paper-1 and 34.18% for Paper-2. The results can be viewed on the https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in website.

    During the announcement of the results, CM Revanth Reddy explained that the government could not reduce the test fee due to the Model Code of Conduct. However, the government will allow candidates who did not pass TET 2024 to apply for the next TET exam for free. Additionally, TET 2024 passers applying for the DSC exam will receive a one-time fee waiver.
