Hyderabad: Dr. Jitender, the Director General of Police, promised to address the challenges faced by police staff.
He spoke at the State Executive Meeting of the Telangana State Police Officers Association at the DGP Office on Tuesday.
Dr. Jitender emphasized the importance of tackling issues affecting police personnel. He mentioned ongoing efforts to improve working conditions, enhance welfare programs, and speed up decisions on promotions and other administrative tasks.
During the meeting, association members presented concerns, focusing on improving health and family welfare services for police staff.
B. Shivadhar Reddy, Director General, Intelligence, suggested setting up medical facilities at unit headquarters to support personnel.
Mahesh M. Bhagwat, Additional DGP (Law & Order), highlighted the need for large medical camps and regular health check-ups for staff.
Anil Kumar, Additional DGP (Personnel), assured that pending issues related to promotions and appointments for medically unfit personnel would be addressed quickly if reported to him.
