Police quarters to receive Rs 232 crore upgrade

Nalgonda: Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, the Minister for Roads, Buildings, and Cinematography, announced that the state government is investing Rs 232 crore to build new quarters for police officers and staff. On Saturday, he opened the new AR DSP, CI, and SI residential quarters, along with Shishu Vihar at the Nalgonda Police Headquarters.

He mentioned that many old quarters across the state will be replaced with new ones. He instructed Police Housing Corporation MD Ramesh Reddy to find and rebuild these outdated facilities. The minister promised full support to police personnel who work tirelessly and commended the efforts of Nalgonda officials in tackling drug abuse.
