Police suggest starting Ganesh immersion early for safe return home

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Police urges everyone to “Start early and reach safely” for the 2025 Ganesh immersion event. The South Zone police requested Ganesh Utsav organizers and Bhagyanagar Utsav Samithi leaders to begin the immersion procession early to ensure timely completion.

On Sunday, DCP South Zone, Sneha Mehra held a meeting with Ganesh Utsav organizers at the Chatrinaka Police Station. She assured them of police support for a peaceful celebration of the Ganesh festivities. The police are committed to maintaining a peaceful environment during the event. Sneha Mehra mentioned that extensive security measures are in place and asked for the organizers’ cooperation. She encouraged a return to the tradition of starting the procession early in the morning and evening, emphasizing the importance of starting early, completing the immersion, and returning home safely.

The DCP confirmed that the police are taking all necessary steps to prevent any inconvenience and ensure the Ganesh immersion is completed smoothly on Ananta Chaturdashi.
