The BJP and Congress are getting ready for elections in Madhya Pradesh. The BJP plans to give women Rs 1000 as part of their new scheme, called “Ladli Behna Yojna,” to get more votes. This will help reduce people’s frustration with Chief Minister Chouhan’s almost two-decade rule. The BJP is hoping the scheme will change people’s minds about them. Around 1.25 crore women aged between 23 and 60 years will receive this benefit. Congress’ Priyanka Gandhi Vadra is starting her party’s campaign from Jabalpur with a roadshow and public meeting on June 12. The BJP is giving special attention to Jabalpur as they only won 13 out of 38 seats there.
