    Hyderabad: Transport Minister and BC Welfare Minister for Hyderabad district, Ponnam Prabhakar, visited the Sabarmati River in Gujarat on Thursday. He was joined by TPCC leader Mahesh Kumar Goud, Chief Minister’s Advisor Vem Narender Reddy, and several government officials.

    During the visit, the Minister spoke with officials to understand how the Sabarmati River was developed. He asked them what key points should be considered to develop the Musi River in Hyderabad in a similar way.

    Ponnam Prabhakar also announced that the Mayor of Greater Hyderabad, along with 150 corporators from different political parties, will soon go on a study tour to the Sabarmati River.

    The purpose of the study tour is to help the GHMC team learn how to redevelop the Musi River. They will focus on the plans for the first phase of the project, which involves development up to Bapu Ghat.
