Senior journalist Ravinder Reddy said on Sunday that the Gopalpet Press Club should always focus on the welfare of journalists. A special event was held to congratulate the newly elected club committee, which was chosen unanimously.

Working journalists from across the district attended the event as chief guests. They congratulated the new committee and said that the club should support journalists during both good times and difficult times, without getting involved in politics.

The journalists also spoke about the importance of saving money. They suggested that the club open a savings account and deposit a fixed amount every month. This fund could help members with health issues, financial problems, and family emergencies.

They advised the committee not to wait for outside help but to solve problems on their own. If disagreements happen, they suggested resolving them by talking directly with each other, rather than involving outsiders, which could make problems worse.

Senior journalist Bolemone Ramesh said that the welfare of the club is more important than personal differences. He promised that journalists in the district center are ready to help the club whenever needed.

Ramesh also shared updates about efforts to provide Indiramma houses for journalists on already allotted plots. He mentioned that MLA T Mega Reddy has promised support for housing plots and construction. He also advised members not to believe any false information about accreditation cards, assuring them that work is being done to issue the cards to everyone.

Many reporters and senior journalists attended the event, including Laxman, Ramu, Khaleel, Ramesh, Ravinder Reddy, Dinesh, Kumar, Raju, Anji, Raju, Rakesh, Tirupati, Purushottam, Gopal, Tarun, Srinath, and club president Praveen.
