PRLI Project Receives Green Signal from EAC, Delighting CM KCR

Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of Telangana expressed his happiness on Friday as the Expert Appraisal Committee (EAC) granted environmental clearances to the Palamuru-Ranga Reddy lift scheme. This approval allows the second phase of the project to proceed, providing irrigation water to 12.30 lakh acres in the joint Mahabubnagar and Rangareddy districts.

The Chief Minister praised the Telangana government’s success in obtaining permissions, stating that it is a testament to their determination and perseverance. He also commended the engineering officials of the irrigation department for their efforts in achieving the environmental approvals.

KCR emphasized that this achievement is another significant milestone for the government and brings them closer to fulfilling their commitment to provide water for the people of Palamuru. He expressed his optimism for the future, envisioning a day when Krishnamma, a mythical river, will bring water and wash the feet of the children in Palamuru.
