    The Telangana state government will open more than 1000 renovated schools as part of the Mana Ooru-Mana Badi program on Tuesday. Additionally, there will be 10,000 libraries and 1,600 digital classrooms opening. The Education Day celebrations will also include essay, painting, and song competitions for students.

    The government wants every child to have quality education with proper facilities at the right age, so the education sector is a top priority. The Mana Ooru-Mana Badi program has been a game changer. To date, 8,525 schools have been grounded, with over 700 revamped schools launched in February and over 1,000 schools to be inaugurated on Tuesday.

    English medium was introduced last year and has gained significant momentum. This year, there have been 1,91,557 student enrolments, with 90% of admissions being for English medium. There has been a transformation in the education system, with significant infrastructure development in both private and government schools. Many schools have been renovated, upgraded, and provided with essential facilities such as classrooms, libraries, laboratories, and computer labs.
