Professor N Gopi is receiving the Professor Kothapalli Jayashankar Vishita Sahitya Award from the cultural organization of BRS Bharat Jagruti. This award is given to literary figures who have achieved great success in literature. Professor Gopi is the first recipient of this award. He has written 56 books, including 26 collections of poetry, seven collections of essays, five translations, and other works. His books have been translated into many Indian languages, as well as German, Persian, and Russian.
Professor Gopi has served as the VC of Telugu University and as the in-charge VC of Kakatiya and Dravida Universities. The award function will take place on June 21st at the Telangana Saraswata Parishad in Abids. Bharat Jagruti President Kalvakuntla Kavitha and others will be present at the ceremony.
