Puvvada declares Khammam as a source of national pride

The tallest statue of Dr BR Ambedkar was unveiled in Hyderabad on Friday. Transport Minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar called it a proud moment for Telangana and the nation. The statue is 125 feet tall and was unveiled by Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. The Minister praised the Chief Minister for his respect towards Dalit people and for giving them importance at all times. The government is conducting the event like a festival across the state and paying rich tributes to BR Ambedkar. The Minister conveyed special thanks to CM KCR for putting the name of the new secretariat as Dr BR Ambekdar Telangana State Secretariat, continuing the aspirations of Ambedkar.
