Telangana Liberation Day was celebrated at the Parade Grounds in Secunderabad with the Central Government organizing the event. Defence Minister Rajnath Singh was the chief guest overseeing the day’s activities.
At the event, Singh honored the fallen by visiting the Military Martyrs’ Monument and placing a wreath at the statue of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. He also hoisted the national flag and received a salute from representatives of the three armed forces.
Several prominent figures attended, including Union Ministers Kishan Reddy and Bandi Sanjay, MP Etala Rajender, and former Haryana Governor Bandaru Dattatreya. The celebrations emphasized the day’s historical importance and the enduring spirit of unity and patriotism in India.
