    Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has finalized the portfolios of his 11 Cabinet ministers and received approval from the Congress high command to add another 6 ministers to his Cabinet. He met with AICC general secretary K C Venugopal and party in-charge Manikrao Thakre in Delhi to discuss the Cabinet expansion, which is expected to happen after the Assembly session.

    The seniormost leaders in the Cabinet are likely to be given important portfolios such as Home, Finance, Revenue, Medical & Health, Education, IT, and Industries. Deputy CM Bhatti Vikramarka, N Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, Damodar Rajanarasimha, and D Sridhar Babu are expected to receive these key portfolios.

    Revanth’s proposal to include senior leaders Mohd Ali Shabbir and T Jeevan Reddy in the Cabinet, even though they did not win in the Assembly elections, has been approved by Rahul Gandhi. The Congress high command will release the list of portfolios assigned to the ministers on Saturday. Additionally, Revanth met with the Lok Sabha Speaker to submit his resignation and wrote an open letter to the voters of Malkajgiri Lok Sabha Segment, expressing gratitude for electing him as MP in the 2019 elections.
