Chief Minister A Revanth is heading to New Delhi today to seek approval from the AICC high command for cabinet expansion. Sources say he will first flag off a fleet of vehicles for anti-drug trafficking in Hyderabad before flying to Delhi.
In Delhi, the CM, along with Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka, will meet with senior Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi, AICC Chief Mallikarjun Kharge, and AICC General Secretary KC Venugopal. The CM has recommended some names for cabinet expansion, including some of his close aides.
Senior leader Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy is reportedly putting in efforts to secure a ministerial position.
