    On Friday, February 16th, 2024, at Government Degree College in Patancheru, Malabar Charitable Trust awarded merit-based scholarships in cash to 232 girl students. The chief guest, Joint Director Prof. Yadagiri, emphasized that the students should use the cash stipends for their future needs. Principal Rajendra Prasad highlighted the importance of education for women empowerment.

    Representative Deepak Kumar from Malabar Charitable Trust stressed that women’s economic independence relies on their education. Tara College Principal Ratna Prasad Malabar suggested that the trust should also focus on providing training and constructing toilets in educational institutions, in addition to financial support.

    Vice Principal Allam Reddy praised the encouragement of female students under the corporate social responsibility scheme. Vice Principal Venkatesham expressed gratitude for the merit-based cash scholarships, noting their usefulness for entrance exam preparation. The program was anchored by Prof. Krishna, with participation from Lankesh, Radhika, Padmaja, Dr. Yogi Babu, Suresh, Dr. Srinivasa Rao, Dr. Baggu, Ravinder, Veerender, Sarita, Vishwa Bharti Dr. Poonam Kumari, and Ashwini Reddy.
