South Central Railway Wins Two National Awards
South Central Railway (SCR) has been recognized for its exceptional performance across Indian Railways. The zone received two all-India performance efficiency shields at the 69th Railway Week Awards—Ati Vishisht Rail Seva Puraskar.
The awards ceremony took place on December 21 at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan. SCR was honored for its outstanding achievements in the civil engineering category, sharing the award with Western Railway and Southern Railway. Additionally, it was jointly recognized in the civil engineering, construction category, alongside Central Railway and East Central Railway.
A total of six officials and staff members from SCR received the prestigious award. Arun Kumar Jain, the general manager of SCR, expressed pride in the recognition and assured that the zone will strive to maintain its excellent performance in the current financial year.
