There was heavy rain early in the morning all over the district. In Ashwaraopet Dammapet mandal, 16 cms of rain fell in one night, causing rainwater to enter many houses. The heavy rain disrupted Singareni production in Satthupalli and resulted in the highest rainfall of 16 cm in one hour in Manuguru.
The heavy rain led to waterlogging in all areas of Manuguru, with roads covered by ponds. Singareni coal production and private company operations were half-submerged, causing hindrance to soil removal work.
